Yoooo hoooo! Yo hooo! The pirates life for meee!
We went to Rockport this weekend to finish of the almost month long celebration of Joshua's pirate themed birthday extravaganza. We charted a pirate ship called the FORMIDABLE out of Rockport with Captain Russell B. Tryder at the helm. The weather reports for the week had been saying Saturday would be a monsoon, but the weather ended up being perfect for the voyage along the coast of Rockport and Cape Ann.
There wasn't much wind, but Nathan and Joshua helped the crew with the rigging of the sails and away we went. Mommy never quite found her sea legs and I can only wonder what the "baby in her belly" thought as we rolled around on some rogue waves that had us stumbling and bumbling around the deck.
We ended the trip with lunch at Top Dog (guess what delicacy they are best known for...) and some treats for dessert at The Fudgery.
