It's About TROY... BOY

First Saturday of March and we did the trip to Home Depot for the Kid's Workshop and brunch (the kids were getting a kick out of that word for some reason). Apparently mixing the words breakfast and lunch together has great comedic value to these little clowns.

The craft this time around came with a little history lesson, which was cool. The boys made Trojan horses and that gave me the opportunity to tell them all about the 10 year battle between the Greeks and the Trojans. Tricking the Trojans into letting the horse behind their walls thinking it was a gift and then getting beaten by the 40-50 men hiding inside ready to jump out and open the gates.
Nathan had a hard time figuring out how the men could fit through "the little slot at the top". I had to explain to him a couple of times that they were making a bank and the slot was for money, not for the soldiers to climb in through.

Friendly's was where we had brunch this time around. Nathan opted for cheeseburger sliders instead of breakfast food and Josh had M&M pancakes.

Craft. History Lesson. Brunch. Done!
