You know that money Nathan has been saving from helping me out around the house so that he could purchase a "big kid" chapter book? Well his day finally came. With the money he made from the previous Saturday he had accumulated $6 in his money jar. Mommy charged him $5 at the Waller Family Bookstore (We have books on reserve in the attic) for volume 1 of the Hardy Boys series and he set off to read. He was so eager to read, it took him less than 2 days to zip through 20 chapters and 180 pages. He now also wants to be a detective and solve mysterious cases like the Hardy's.
Looks like he'll have to keep saving up for the second book in the series.
