Joshua went for his first check up this morning with Dr. Danis
Everything looks terrific. He's a little lighter than when we brought him home, but we'll beef him up in no time.
That wierd little piece of left over umbilical cord fell off last night. Found it on the floor this morning... how pleasant. Anyhoo, looks like Josh has an "inny".
Funny thing happened at the docs office...
We stripped down the baby and put him on the scale to be weighed and Joshua decided that the forecast called for rainshowers followed by an explosion from Mount Poopmore (I know Rushmore isn't a volcanoe, but it sounds good for this story).
What a mess! The boy waits till we're in the doctors office to make his greatest contribution since birth. On the plus side, everything is working in that department.
We go back next week for another weigh in. I'll have to pay closer attention to Joshua's doppler radar and check for the chance of any sudden drops in pressure that day.

So if he held his contribution until after he was weighed, his weight would not have gone down. Just bad timing.
