This year we opted to stay in and have a little celebration of our own instead of procuring a babysitter and trekking out to first night in downtown Beverly.
We had some crafts, music, snacks, hats, blowers, lights and a countdown for the boys... who did all right for themselves getting to bed around 10:30 or so.
At first Joshua said he was sad to be missing out annual fun downtown, but by the end of the night he was saying how he wasn't sad anymore.
Well onward to a near year. We'll see what blessing God has in store for us!
