ON A HILL far away...

This Easter season started out with Julie deciding to make a little project that she saw online. The idea was to make a small hill of Golgotha where Jesus was crucified and a tomb with the stone rolled away to depict the death and resurrection of Jesus. We bought the supplies, planted the grass, watched and waited. I think it was a case of a watched pot never boiling for the first couple weeks, or in this case... watched grass seed never grows. Almost every day, Nathan would pull himself up on the counter to get a closer look at the seeds. The week before Easter, the grass took off and ended up making quite a nice display.
