TOPSFIELD is FAIR Indeed

We took a family trip to the Topsfield Fair this past weekend with Grandma as "backup" (it's always nice to have some backup). We got there a little bit after 10 and made the rounds for about 5 hours or so. No naps for Nathan or Joshua coupled with lots and lots of walking made for a long day and I decided to pull up anchor and leave just before everyone reached the point of no return. The point of no return of course being when everyone becomes easily annoyed and irritable at the slightest of things, which leads to meltdowns and general chaos with a hint of insanity.
The fair was a good time... it's funny how different things seem when your older (or maybe it's just the added responsibility) than when your a kid.
The highlights of the day were the horses and jumping "dock dogs" for Nathan, the magic show for Joshua and the funnel cakes and chickens for Noah. JJ was content just cruising around and "talking" about the antics of his brothers, the general state of modern society and occasionally mentioned the weather.
