I took the day off from work so that we could bring Nathan and Joshua to the Stone Zoo for a couple of hours.
It was quite HOT and so I think a lot of the animals were hiding out, but we got to see quite a few. The bears were the most animated because they had a pool and lots of honey. Most of the big cats were just lounging about and even the monkeys didn't want to show off too much.
A couple of hot dogs, popcorn and ample shade ended our little excursion and then it was back home for naps. Joshua was falling asleep about 3 minutes into the ride home, but the suggestion of watching a movie on the way back quickly took care of that little issue.
Can't mess with nap time!
Nap time is valuable (particularly to parents)... napping is to be done at home (Mommy will attest to that).
